Little Big Planet Karting is where I feel my joy of video games truly began. My dad owned a PS3, and I was always fascinated with playing games in general. But there was something special about Little Big Planet Karting that made me appreciate the work developers do in order to create video games. One day out of the blue, my dad buys this game called Little Big Planet Karting and I was thrilled to play it. At the time, I was mainly excited about how he had finally found a game where we both were able to play together that peaked both of our interests. We would play together for hours at a time having really close matches but for the majority of the races, I would win. Although, it was always entertaining being able to play games with my dad with a game concept that was simple for younger me to understand and still intense for my dad to enjoy. Until this point, no other video game had gotten my attention like this one. The replayability, the creativity, the story mode, all of it was so entertaining and made me realize that playing video games was a passion that I truly enjoyed. To this day, I continue playing video games, cherishing each moment in hopes to one day be involved within the gaming industry in any capacity.
